Earns Law Enforcement Endorsements
Citing his strong
support for law enforcement, Assemblyman Adam Bradley has received
the endorsement of the Affiliated Police Associations of Westchester
County; the Police Conference of New York; the Law Enforcement
Officers Union, Council 82; Bridge and Tunnel Officers Benevolent
Association; Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority Superior Officers
Benevolent Association; the Westchester County Correction Officers
Benevolent Association; Westchester County Correction Superior
Officers Association; and the Westchester Hispanic Law Enforcement
Association.
“These brave men
and women work to keep our families safe in a dangerous world.
I’m proud to stand with them and together we will continue protecting
the safety and security for all Westchester County,” said Bradley.
Bradley has built
a strong record of supporting public safety measures, including:
• a tough anti-terrorism
law that increases penalties for money laundering and helps increase
security at public and private airports; (Chapter 1 laws of 2004)
• authoring a bill to strengthen the Sex Offender Registration
Act (A.11599)
• passing a law that improves the Amber Alert Plan by allowing
information about a missing child to be transmitted through e-mail,
electronic organizers or mobile phones by service providers who
voluntarily agree to send messages
“As a new father,
there’s nothing more comforting than knowing someone is there,
protecting us. In the Assembly, I will continue working to ensure
our state provides the vital resources necessary for protecting
our families,” Bradley concluded.
